Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut
This young athlete has substantial online audience
Kai Trump can count on plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to compete and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching younger fans.
The social media influencer boasts a massive following and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
