Adam Wharton A debut start with the national team. Somewhat careless when playing out but his whipped set-pieces caused problems. An effective tempo-setter available to the manager to utilize versus defensive opponents. Booked for a rash challenge. 6

The midfielder Deliveries on corner kicks and free kicks created chances. Enjoyed room to move in left midfield yet found himself offside as the pass came in shooting positions. Granted a deserved break around the 60-minute point. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Played in an advanced role on the right while also contributed with the hard yards. Displayed flashes of quality but mishit an attempt over. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, his rival, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his shot excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side although his balls into the box varied in quality. Substituted with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. The opener a trademark poacher’s finish while the second an excellent header following a clever run away from the opposition. At 32, he continues to improve and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to influence play from the left. Had a decent opportunity following a pass by the midfielder but the keeper kept it out. His replacement produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5/10
