Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players following the fallout from his televised remarks.
The Incident
He was omitted from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has previously declined to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the forward's comments were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a good place,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, playing well and securing victories.”
